Stage 7: UAE Juan Ayuso won the stage with a steep climb

The seventh stage started from CASTEL DI SANGRO and ended at TAGLIACOZZO. It is 168 kilometers long, and the route is mainly hilly, making it suitable for breakaway groups or all-around riders. In the early stage of the race, the 7 km climb was strictly controlled by the big group until the climb point, when the breakaway riders successfully broke away, and the big group caught up until the last climb.

In the last climb, Juan Ayuso (UAE) attacked strongly on the steep slope, leaving behind a group of climbers to win the championship. Another favorite, Primož Roglič, finished 4 seconds behind, but took over the pink jersey after the race with the advantage accumulated in the previous total score.

Stage 8: Wonderful breakout! Ulissi wins the pink jersey, Plaphol wins the stage championship.

The eighth stage starts from GIULIANOVA and ends at CASTELRAIMONDO. It is 197.8 kilometers long and features several medium-difficulty climbs, making it suitable for breakaway groups or riders of all abilities.

At the beginning of the race, 19 players launched a long-distance breakaway attack. The team in the overall score of the big group chose to let the breakaway team go. During the race, Plaphol (Jayco AlUla) relied on his personal time trial ability to break away and successfully won the race. Ulissi (ASTNA) relied on his tenacious fighting spirit to finish in third place and took over the pink jersey after the race with a reduction of seconds.

At the beginning of the race, 6 players launched a long-distance breakaway attack. The large group accelerated and split during the pursuit in the "white road" stage, and finally formed a small group of 5 people. This small group not only caught up with the breakaway players in front and formed the final championship group. Wout van Aert won the race in the steep slope duel, and Isaac del Toro took over the pink jersey after the race.

Stage 10: ITT battle, the right time and right place make Horace

The tenth stage is the ITT race, with a total length of 28.6 kilometers. The route is relatively flat, and the difficulty is relatively low. Because the weather forecast says it will rain today, the players want to compete early. After the warm-up, the race started. The first to sit in the hot seat was Leo Hayter (Quick Step). Until Horace (TREK) ranked 43rd, he refreshed his record and sat in the hot seat. The subsequent player, Josh Tarling, also failed to break this record. In an interview, he said: Because of the weather, he was a little worried and distracted.

No one in the subsequent total score of riders could break this record. In any case, the right time and right place have a great impact on the results. Let us also congratulate Leo Hayter for winning the stage championship!

Stage 11: Breakout! Solo! Richard Carapaz won the championship in a rush.

The 11th stage starts from VIAREGGIO and ends at CASTELNOVO NE' MONTI. It is 186 kilometers long and includes several medium-difficulty climbs. It is a stage that breakaway riders can strive for.

In the early stage of the race, many players broke through to compete for the climbing points. After the big group caught up with them before the last 10 kilometers, Carapaz launched a surprise attack and flew alone in the last 9 kilometers of the climbing stage. Although the UAE Airlines team tried hard to chase, it still became the background wall of Carapaz's victory.

The 12th stage starts from MODENA and ends at VIADANA. It is 172 kilometers long. This stage is a flat road sprint stage. At the beginning of the race, three players broke through 150 kilometers and were caught up by the big group. The big group once again ushered in a sprint battle. The sprint leader, Olav Kooi, won the race cleanly under the cover of the Vismar team.

Stage 13: Sprint, sprint or sprint, Mads PEDERSEN's super sprint!

The 13th stage starts from ROVIGO and ends in VICENZA. It is 180 kilometers long and the route is mainly flat, which is suitable for sprinters. At the beginning of the race, 9 players broke through after 110 kilometers and were caught up by the big group. Then, two players from Trek and Picnic took the opportunity to break through again at the climbing point on the way. The big group had to speed up and chase until 1 km before the finish line, and once again, ushered in a short, steep slope sprint battle. (Trek Team) Pedersen won the race with a body advantage.

As of the 13th stage, Mexican rising star Isaac del Toro, UAE, continued to hold the pink jersey, and his lead gradually expanded. As the race enters the second half, more mountain stages are about to start, and the overall ranking is expected to change significantly.
